Vonk Pottery is one creative home with two very different rooms — each shaped by its location, its energy, and how people experience clay.
Clarens gives us the rare gift of space and foot traffic, so we’ve leaned into both.

Vonk Pottery Studio
This is where the magic starts.
The Studio is Vonk in its rawest form; wheels spinning, kilns firing, clay everywhere. It’s the working heart of the brand, where functional ceramics are made from start to finish.
The space is intentionally calm and pared back. Think of it as a blank canvas: neutral tones, open air, and room to breathe. That simplicity makes it perfect for slowing down, getting your hands dirty, and actually making something.

Vonk Pottery Shop
This is Vonk turned up a notch.
The Shop sits right in the buzz of Clarens tourism. Colourful, playful, and unapologetically messy. Paint splashes live happily on the floors, and the walls are layered with hand-drawn illustrations and creative marks left behind over time.
Here, the studio feel gives way to spontaneity. People pop in, browse finished pieces, sit down to paint, and carry on with their day, often with paint on their hands and smiles on their faces.
